Most enterprises invest in Firewall, Antivirus to defend themselves from ransom-ware attack. They are under impression that by providing with these measures, they are safe. Mind well, during initial breakout of a new ransom-ware, these systems are not prepared to detect them and they take their own sweet time to update themselves. This time period is known as Zero Day.
