What is the warranty scheme provided by BLACKbox?
By default, BLACKbox comes with three years warranty. At the time of purchase, you can buy a two-year extended warranty to make it a five-year warranty.
Can the warranty period for BLACKbox hardware and software be extended?
The hardware warranty can be extended for two years over and above the standard three year warranty period at the time of purchase.
The software upgradation contract needs to be renewed every year post the first year.
If the device is under warranty, do we need an AMC for remote support?
Yes. AMC for remote support has nothing to do with the device hardware warranty. AMC is for getting regular updates of BLACKbox software and the agent to keep up with OS changes, troubleshoot, and get new features. It is optional to take AMC.
Which services are covered in AMC for a BLACKbox device under warranty?
Software updates for BLACKbox Console, agent, troubleshooting, and new features feasible on the purchased hardware are covered under AMC.
