Multiple Locations

How will BLACKbox work for different branch offices in multiple locations?

There are two options to use BLACKbox for multiple locations:

  1. If the locations are connected with MPLS or P2P connectivity having sufficient bandwidth and static IP at each location, then a single BLACKbox can be installed at a central location. The same BLACKbox can be used from multiple locations through the WAN IPSEC tunnel.
  2. If the locations are not connected with each other, then location wise deployment of BLACKbox is recommended.
  3. BLACKbox can be deployed at the head office, and BLACKbox AAA can be installed there. All the users from different branch offices can connect to BLACKbox AAA over browsers or applications and share/access the data from BLACKbox at the head office.
How can data be accessed from BLACKboxes at multiple locations?

By keeping multiple BLACKboxes on static IP, data can be shared over VPN for the users.

How can BLACKbox be implemented at multiple locations having different domain environments?

BLACKbox is an agent-based solution. So, if multiple domains have to be managed, then multiple boxes – a different box for each domain is recommended.
